Pros

Good benefits and easy company to work for. They send you to seasonal training seminars twice every year. Every employee receives gratis when new products are put out.

Cons

Minimum-wage pay compared to many other cosmetic companies, not worth all the hard work you put in. Unrealistic goals for the store.

Pros

The customers would make the days worthwhile. I enjoyed helping women feel their best. That is the only pro.

Cons

Catty upper management. Seriously, they expect you to do the job of 3 people and you will NEVER be commended for doing a great job. If you make all your numbers and go over, they will scold you and ask why you didn't try harder. I understand that you always want to push your team to do their best.... But how about some acknowledgement of all of our hard work??? I loved my store and all of my co-workers... But I knew I had to leave because I realized that upper management could care less about the well being of their employees. All they care about is making numbers by any means necessary. That is why the turn over rate is EXTREMELY HIGH at this company And they rarely promote from within, contrary to what they will tell you.

Pros

Friendly people Nice customers Easy product to sell

Cons

Sales goals expectations are un realistic in the economy. Sorry, but people don't want to pay 15 dollars for a lipstick. Also, upper management aka. DMs and RMs have too much emphasis on client books. There was a lot of trouble for everyone in my store to get someone to answer the phone never the less actually get them to come in after what feels like a soliciting phone call.
