Pros

50 % off all products, plenty of Gratis products, part time hours to work with and 4 hour shifts.

Cons

Small workplace so gossip spreads quickly. Not as fast paced as other retail stores.

Pros

Great corporate culture. Opportunity to work with many cross-functional partners. Very lateral company, lots of exposure to Director and VP level partners. 50% product discount.

Cons

Lack of investment in new systems. Flow of information across job functions is sometimes a challenge. Sick days cannot be used as PTO, despite misinformation from HR.

Generally A Bad Experience

Pros

Several free gifts per year and a great discount. Not a bad hourly rate either, as these jobs go.

Cons

Everyone was under 20 and equally as immature. Employees were allowed to do or say anything they wanted or force nonbuying customers on other personnel, and management would look the other way. There is a serious disconnect between corporate and store levels. For instance, no contact person or telephone number is available where I can change my address so that I correctly receive my tax documents next year. Upper management/corporate honchos swoop in on unsuspecting employees while store manager is on vacation to haul them outside and "interview" them in a style not unlike the one used during the Spanish Inquisition, demanding dirt on others. Replacement DM antagonistic to staff and management as well. Has a personality disorder. Staff consisted of 15 - 20 part-time people. We all wanted more hours, but got only 5-10 per week. When employees would leave, management just hired more people. There were not enough hours for this job to be really called a job or to support yourself with. It was a joke.
