Pros

Five years ago there were some pros to working at beeline, but now it's a struggle with the current leadership.

Cons

The management team is horrible you have two guys running the show that have no clue as to what they are doing. They made so many changes all at once that employees are dropping like flies. The HR department is a joke. The leader of HR has the personality of an unpainted wall. There are only a couple of managers that care and understand but the rest are power-hungry micro managers that will not listen to any feedback. The office relocated from a beautiful office in the Midtown area to a bottom-floor dungeon in Buckhead. The management team thinks by dumping money into the current office will make everything ok when no one even wants to come into the office.

Pros

Nice DM and Trainer. Some nice jewelry and good discounts.

Cons

As a seasoned merchandiser, I never saw a planogram that was so poor. Having to guess which item went where from a vague picture. Training never completed. The trainer had a huge territory and had to cancel all the time. There were many changes frequently. I could never figure out what I was supposed to be doing. Which product is in, what is out??? No inventory control. Taking an order and being sent what you have overstock of already. Once you pick a day and time to do a store you cannot change it without permission so there is no flexibility. I left when they said they audited my work before training was completed. The pay was not good for someone who has over 10 years experience. Compensation for the use of my vehicle was next to nothing.

Pros

Working with other Mobile Merchandisers and meeting store employees who were happy to see you arrive to take care of their jewelry.

Cons

Worked here over 3+ years and received ONE raise of NINE cents and was expected to be ecstatic about it. Responsibilities were piled onto me once management determined I was competent yet never acknowledged what was done right and was quick to point out every tiny thing done wrong. If you ask too many questions, you're told to refer to the VM (visual merchandising paperwork) that changes constantly without rhyme or reason instead of actually getting your question answered. There are ridiculous changes and micromovements of products that take up too much time and effort when your energy is much better spent establishing relationships with store management, cleaning fixtures and actually merchandising the jewelry instead of adding or removing a peg every other month. It just didn't make sense in the end - other than the VM manager seemed to have to justify her position at the company. District managers are over-stretched with their territories. They're expected to manage huge geographical areas that are simply unmanageable and ridiculous in size. The Mobile Merchandisers are the ones who suffer as a result. They don't receive the support and encouragement they need; instead, it's angry text messages and personally insulting emails. I've never been treated so poorly by a company - pay-wise, management-wise, and in the end... I can honestly say - this company did not value my contributions and extremely hard work that I put in at a ridiculously low salary. Also - your car will suffer, you're expected to use your own paper, printer, computer and smartphone (small reimbursement for this). Be prepared to be taken advantage of if you chose to work for beeline, they'll milk you for everything. I'd give zero stars on all ratings if I could.
