Pros

Flexible schedule, working at different locations, meeting new people

Cons

In order to keep good merchandisers, you really need to look into paying more per hour. The pay:workload ratio is very skewed. The company expects the employees to work very hard and sometimes grueling and physically exhausting hours for very little pay. They are also sometimes required to do the work of 2 people. Unfortunately good people leave for better paying jobs.

- We’re glad you enjoyed certain aspects of your career at beeline, and appreciate the feedback for other aspects! A quick note – our turnover is actually better than merchandising companies that are similar to us. It’s hard to compare since our business model is so unique – but we feel confident with our turnover across the business, from corporate positions to field. That said – let us know if you have suggestions for making things better!

Pros

On your own. Flexible schedule. Actual store work fun.

Cons

Too many glitches in getting info. More work off clock getting into programs for different purposes than should be. More computer work entering info etc. than advertised.

Pros

Working as a mobile merchandiser is great for a second part time job or for someone who maybe can't commit to full time hours. Your schedule is very flexible, you can pretty much make your own schedule with exception to the Christmas season. You work independently, so no one micro-managing you or your work. Pay is decent for what you are doing, more than minimum wage. You get to "play" with cute jewelry.

Cons

Changes can come at the last minute and you are expected to be flexible in that way. Sometimes communication from upper management is lacking. Depending on the number of partner stores in your area, there isn't any room for extra hours or advancement. Your job is to organize and clean up messy jewelry fixtures, if the idea of constantly cleaning up after lazy and messy customers is aggravating to you, do not apply.
