Pros

Heart of downtown and transit

Cons

Always find a reason not to get a raise, toxic clients because of extremely high rate increases they don’t care about customers they increase deductibles or rates for no reason and give no reward or support for employees for dealing with that. If you hit all your numbers they’ll still find a way not to give you a raise. And they give raises and promotions to French or Quebec people first even if you’re a better or harder worker. Best part is you worry about being fired everyday nice feeling of job security And the coffee is horrible

Pros

They pay you well. But it is not worth it for all they will ask of you.

Cons

I really enjoyed working there when I first started, I believed in the product and loved the environment there. But the management started wringing their employees out for every ounce of productivity they could and had a mentality of hiring many people often so they could make up for the people who left after being burnt out. Management just doesn't care, and the customer first ideal that appealed to me when I first started has gone away. A good job to be in for 1 year. Anything more and it will eat away at your sanity. The work environment there also became very toxic as people were forced to compete with each other instead of working together.

Pros

Downtown and close to transit Get to wear jeans everyday

Cons

Heavy favouritism - if you speak French and English you will be promoted faster or if you sleep with management - especially if you are least qualified. Tend to hire new immigrants that are fresh off the boat with poor English which clients get frustrated even more having to deal with. Downsizing - shrinking the office from 3 floors to 2 floors. No support from managers, no direction from upper management and high turnover which leads to poor employee morale. Clients are increasingly upset over jacked insurance rates upwards of 50% in one year namely on private auto and the company simply has advised staff not to care how the customer feels in the name of greed. Long term employees who had worked or been trained by CDI are fired for no cause to cut costs. You are better to call in sick for an extended period of time as apposed to calling in sick once or twice in a year which can lead to termination. Best to work here for no more than 2 years then get out while you can otherwise your skills we be redundant and you will feel complacent due to lack of advancement.
