Pros

Flexible working hours in a very diverse and interesting industry. The role requires me to apply my technical and project management skills to help the PGM deliver the project scope.

Cons

Relocation across the world at short notice can be difficult. There is a significant employee age gap between the younger graduates and the older senior staff. Project and operating performance is reliant on the commodity price, meaning the industry is cyclical in investment decisions which affect jobs.
