Pros

Good support for employees, reasonable pay and benefits, no expectation to work weekends. Provides quite a bit of variety for staff

Cons

The company changes direction every 1-2years and focus more on short-term gains than long-term value creation, also there is tolerance for systemic underperformance in some sections

Pros

Stability, growth, and diversity of experiences. BP is a stable company in a stable industry with many opportunities domestic and international.

Cons

Working here sometimes is much like working for the government where you feel that your efforts do very little to change the direction of things.
