Pros

- Great benefits - Development program for new employees - 9/80 work schedule - Reasonable learning curve - Focus on site improvement and employees

Cons

- Sometimes dull work - Lots of paperwork/meetings - Advancement seems more seniority than merit based at times - Achievement tied somewhat to luck in placement

Pros

- Great people - Great benefits - Lots of opportunities for career growth - Worldwide company with worldwide opportunities - Pretty good at maintaining work-life balance, but not consistent among sites

Cons

- Leadership has gone downhill in the last few years - Inconsistent messages, upstream told we had best year in a decade, downstream told to operate as if we are a bankrupt company - If you are just beginning your career, oil will be an industry in decline during your working life. Think about it...
