Shambles. Embarrassment to the EV I dustry

Pros

None. Management clueless about the EV industry.

Cons

Company will collapse due to its inability to see value in people who are experienced in the industry. When just Chargemaster (before BP take over) all employees where passionate about there work. Now moral at an all time low. Blame culture and not my job attitudes well and truly set in, all due to inept managment and shocking disregard for customers. Try calling Customer Care if you have an hour to kill while waiting on hold. Rebranded as BP Pulse. No pulse here, just a dying, once decent company to work for.

Pros

I’ve only been with the organization for a couple of months, but already I’ve been made to feel welcome and part of the team. All input is valued and although we’re part of the larger ‘BP Brand’ there is no real legacy or ‘big brother’ approach to working. We’ve been allowed to explore the market place and work out a strategy that best suits our EV customer needs and the ambition of the government in their ‘roadmap to zero’ plan for 2030. I’ve found the senior team to be open to suggestions/questions and there’s a real ‘whatever’s best for the customer’ approach to how we create our strategies and look to develop the existing offering. Colleagues are great, there’s a nice mix of people who’ve worked within BP, those that have experience of EV and those new to the whole environment from other various industries. The building (at Milton Keynes) is bright, modern, centrally located and was only opened earlier this year. I’m enjoying my time so far and am looking forward to the challenge/s that will inevitably come from rolling out the governments ambitions over the next 10 years in this fast-paced industry.

Cons

At this stage, the workload is high, but this was always to be expected - other than getting up to speed with EV and the approach, I’d say there aren’t many negatives.

Pros

Great senior management, a clear focus and determination to transform the business into a market leading, hugely enjoyable company to work with and for.

Cons

Legacy processes and culture still exists that is a challenge to overcome and improve. The business is going through significant transformation in a fierce and fast moving industry and market. The high pressure environment is not for everyone.
