My experience at dd's has more cons then pros

Pros

Medical benefits for part-time associates, the employees are friendly and close , safety parties when no accidents happen in the store and the managers for very understanding

Cons

The pay is minimum even with experience, hours are horrible when slow, new employees are promoted before the old ones and favoritism by certain supervisors

Pros

Benefits are very good (medical, vacation etc.) Really flexible about taking vacation time off. Casual dress code ("Denim Days" are Mondays and Fridays) They might be flexible about the length of your workday....if you are a parent.

Cons

Extremely corporate and rigid. Dishonest middle management gives you the runaround when you ask questions about your career trajectory. Very political in decisions regarding raises and promotions. Management approval is required for even minor decisions.
