Pros

- The people. Everyone who works here (including leadership) truly cares about you and your wellbeing, no matter where you're located, Chicago or elsewhere. Our clients are pretty great to work with as well! - Growth opportunities. dscout still has a startup culture, so there are plenty of places for you to grow and pick up passion projects. Management/leadership is very accommodating when you come to them with an idea. - Our product and service. The platform and services that we're selling are really cool, and the impact that they have within our clients' organizations is very visible. I really love working for dscout!

Cons

- Burnout. Everyone who works here works really hard and there are high expectations for excellence internally and from our clients. Luckily, management truly does not want you working late into the evenings, and will actively try to help when you're feeling burnt out. - Compensation. Goes along with burnout, but it can feel like dscout compensates below what it should based on the amount and type of work we're doing.

People Nerds is what they sell, and not who they actually are.

Pros

Good for networking with high profile clients, and on occasion, you work with some really talented, level-headed work colleagues.

Cons

-Upper management will string you along with promises -HR was not honest about details pertaining to some employees and changes/negotiations/status of role questions; lots of gaslighting -The office admin was also the IT person -Toxic positive atmosphere -At the time there were only 4 black employees out of 100.

Pros

dscout is a great place to work. I've been in sales for a long time and this is easily the best company I've ever worked for. The staff is a really solid group of humans: smart, curious, empathetic, and kind. The product is quite interesting and delivers a lot of value. The clients are some of the most innovative and interesting companies in the world. Pay is good, benefits are amazing, and the culture is awesome.

Cons

dscout is currently pivoting from a small startup vibe to a more mature medium-sized company. It's growing like crazy, which always presents some challenges. Overall, there are no major red flags or serious problems that I can see.
