The current leadership at eBay is not optimal. Not at the top and especially not in the mid levels. Managers do not really care about their teams, In my personal experience, the manager lied to us all the time. We don't know if it was always on purpose or not. Our leadership team (Director and Sen. Director) wouldn't make it any other company. Feedback from colleagues was always bad but the lying and making up tings was the worst and very disappointing. These are the most recent experiences I have personally made. When eBay had to let go people in January this year,, they have explained it that the cost was growing faster than the revenue. Which makes sense and would be understandable. On the other hand eBay is now re-hiring lots of the vacant positions for much higher salaries. Another bad flavor I have experienced from the recent events at eBay is that it seems that they mostly fired non Indian people. No matter what the performance was.

Not great in growth and development, management is not consistent with values, low options of growth, lack of feedback, promotions are given to people with the minimum effort and and sometimes feel it's not worth giving extra as there is not enough recognition for the work done.
