Pros

I had the honor to work for eBay quite some time. Have seen up's and downs in the company. We had good leadership in the past

Cons

The current leadership at eBay is not optimal. Not at the top and especially not in the mid levels. Managers do not really care about their teams, In my personal experience, the manager lied to us all the time. We don't know if it was always on purpose or not. Our leadership team (Director and Sen. Director) wouldn't make it any other company. Feedback from colleagues was always bad but the lying and making up tings was the worst and very disappointing. These are the most recent experiences I have personally made. When eBay had to let go people in January this year,, they have explained it that the cost was growing faster than the revenue. Which makes sense and would be understandable. On the other hand eBay is now re-hiring lots of the vacant positions for much higher salaries. Another bad flavor I have experienced from the recent events at eBay is that it seems that they mostly fired non Indian people. No matter what the performance was.

Pros

It is remote….that’s it and that is all!

Cons

Sounds good initially, but once you are in you will quickly realize you have been deceived. They are looking for experience CSR’s but the training doesn’t reflect that…therefore you are spending weeks getting training that is not needed and you never learn the product until you are actually on the phone with members.. Don’t agree to the swing shift if you are being hired into the Buy department…They will stick you into training asap and you will never get the shift pay difference….so the pay they promise you for that varies shifts WILL NOT HAPPEN. In training don’t be analytical in training they will mark you as a troublemaker
