      Pros

      I have built a great team full of ownership and respect. I have a great manager that is always willing to listen and help work out problems that arise. Great leadership that is always willing to help out. Terrific pay!

      Cons

      Working 50 hour weeks, every week since September. Not getting a mental break, watching the team members slowly become exhausted. Watching quality suffer due to exhaustion. Not always the best way forward in my opinion.

      - Many excellent, supportive colleagues within GCI who genuinely want to do good work. - Strong collaboration and kindness across the wider eBay organisation. - Interesting strategic challenges with the potential for meaningful insight impact.

      Cons

      - The Global Markets leadership culture is emotionally draining: heavy micromanagement, low trust, and an expectation to anticipate and pre-empt constant criticism. - Priorities continually shift without logic or stability, causing rework and chronic uncertainty. - A clear pattern where senior leaders take credit for wins but deflect responsibility downward when things go wrong. - Psychological safety is extremely low: peers privately sharing experiences of stress, anxiety, and coping mechanisms. - The behaviours in Global Markets leadership are completely out of step with the values and positive culture found elsewhere at eBay
