India & US Office - Great work place with best work culture

I work in India office and here we have best work culture, feels like a close knit family as we are small growing team, open and receptive to employee suggestions, lot of potential within the team to contribute to the growth of the organization, updating to best processes as and when there is a need. Lot of scope to grow individually and professionally as the organization is growing in quick pace. Overall it is a fun place to work and great platform to grow as a professional.

A few coworkers are supportive and collaborative; learnt what I do not want in a team.

Cons

One individual in a position of power creates a deeply unfair and toxic environment. This individual asks for feedback but only to invalidate it—constantly trying to prove why others are wrong and they are right, rather than genuinely listening or reflecting. Bootlicking is not just rewarded, it's expected. Genuine talent and hard work go unnoticed unless you're constantly flattering this individual. There's no real system to assess skills or performance fairly, and those who choose not to engage in sycophancy are often targeted or set up to fail. With no formal or transparent evaluation process; recognition and consequences feel completely random and politically driven. The blatant double standards and lack of accountability are alarming.
