      Nice people, but not good work

      Pros

      People are friendly. Some very good managers. Friday socials and games are fun.

      Cons

      Out dated technologies and reluctance to improve the product. Always working towards short term fixes. No clear idea on where the company is going. Only a few people make all the decisions. Fear based management. Employees feel threatened and far from being cared for.

      Pros

      Everyone is very prompt and proactive with their help. There's warmth, friendship, and good work. Plus, life is never dull at eGain. There's something new happening all the time. You have to keep up.

      Cons

      Well, if you can't keep up with the changes, you can get left behind. Also, it would be great to have a snooze place for those power nap needs that hit at odd-hours. It would improve productivity.

      Pros

      I love the culture and our products. I have been here for 14 years, and get to try my hands at all kinds of projects.

      Cons

      In times of growth, some managers make poor hiring decisions and some others have trouble getting new employees started. We need to get good people in and give them all the training and support they need to be the best they can be.
