Pros

-Administration and HR do their best to move new hires to departments and positions which best match their education and skill set should opportunities arise. -Standard corporate benefits are guaranteed for all full-time employees, including healthcare (primary, dental, vision, and HMO), paid vacation time, 401k, stock plan purchases, and life insurance. -Company hardware and software are provided to all employees free of charge, primarily a laptop, charger, and any necessary programs. -Relocation and travel assistance is available to employees who must report to their designated office and travel frequently on company time. -Time schedules are highly flexible, employees can begin their shift at any time and leave after they've accomplishes all their goals for the day. -Quarterly bonuses are awarded to employees if eGain is "gaining" with regard to goals and revenue.

Cons

-If you are based in the main HQ in Silicon Valley, and transition to a technical team from a trainee, don't expect to earn the minimum salary in The Valley for the role you obtain right away. Your salary will stay the same as it was when you were a trainee until you exceed your performance review. -No union. These are essential for all companies as the union will negotiate on employees' behalf for safer working conditions, better benefits, and higher wages, all while protecting said employees from unwarranted retaliation. -Paid family and sick leave are not provided and must be taken out of one's vacation hours. -Diversity varies greatly among each individual team. But the engineering teams are the least diverse, with most employees of those teams being of Indian descent. Not a problem working with them at all, but certainly not diverse either.

Please, I didn't see any Pros

Cons

If you are a sales person, it is not the job for you. Just to get an SE for a demo, you have to jump through 10 different hoops. The price of eGain is about 3 times more that the next vendor. Customers actually laugh at the pricing.

Pros

The technology is good and the people are nice.

Cons

You'll find positive reviews lately because the company made everyone do it. Easily the worst training I've ever done. A few videos that you wont understand before they send you to prospect. Once you start prospecting, you'll have NO tools. They told me before I started that I'd have a bunch of leads from marketing and channels which I never received. No Salesforce (they use MSD), zoominfo, linkedin nav, no leads, no channels, etc.. Everyone is essentially a BDR so unless you like making 200 calls a week, stay away. You'll also have no room for growth since the teams are small with a few AE's and 4-5 managers in the country.
