eHealth brings me a great work/life balance

Pros

Culture - The culture is amazing. Leaders are supportive and extremely respectful of your personal time outside of work. Remote - Remote work has changed my life. No more waking up super early, long commutes, and spending a ton of money on gas and eating out everyday. I've gotten back more time for my personal life, which makes me happier in my work life. Benefits - very good for the employee, a little pricy for dependents. Compensation - Pay is fair and annual bonuses are a plus. Diversity and inclusion - eHealth seems to hire from all different backgrounds and makes an effort to ensure their employees feel included and valued.

Cons

Career Opportunites - If you are willing to jump around, there are always different jobs opening up. But if you want to stay in a specific department or on a specific team, it takes a while for a higher role to open since not many people leave. Compensation - the pay is fair, but annual merit increases are a little lower than desired.

Unethical Call Center work

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Work from home VTO from Dec. 7 th to Jan 1.

Cons

Pay below average base The way they generate leads is unethical bordering on elder abuse. Thrown into outbound dialer without any warning. ‼️ Transferred inbound calls that were actually out bound. Faulty advertising designed to generate call volume, only confuses and upsets the callers. Forced to prioritize making sales over providing quality service. Even if it is not what is best for the beneficiaries.
