Pros

they pay well reimbuse on internet they offer accrued PTO

Cons

They are extremely inconsistent and ever changing. They do not even give you an option if you are okay with changing job roles that are the opposite end of the spectrum from what you applied for. They laid off 80% of the company to beg us to work OT. Our commission as been stripped compared to what I was told when I applied. Im sure their employment turn over rate is ridiculously high.

Pros

You can listen to a lot of people on here that are former employees, that weren't good at the job and have never ran a business in their lives give their two cents on how a sales company should be ran. Let me give you the other side of the coin. eHealth has needed to do a lot to weather the storm that has come to every Medicare sales center. Yet through it all the biggest changes that have been made to the company have come from employee feedback on the surveys they send out. Some of the changes actually hurt profitability of the company and they were still made because the front line asked for it. This is a company that really cares about the employees that work here. It values the feedback and give lots of ways for that feedback to happen. This is a company that starts you off with benefits right away, something that gets abused often. You have paid sick days, paid holidays, paid recharge mental health days, paid family time. Great insurance, 401k matching and so much more. And what they ask for in return is work. Lets call a spade a spade if you are starting out in sales it is a call center where your job will be to make and answer calls. An attention to detail with the customers that you are talking to because everyone of them is important and worth your time. And we want it done the way that we do it, dont worry you will be taught the sales mastery way. Doing so can allow you to earn really good money and help you reach your goals that you have. I personally made 140K+ when I was on the phones. Done the right way it is a very easy sale with the huge upside of really being able to make a difference in others lives. Doing things the wrong way will lead to a lot of disappointment. This is not a "leave me alone and let me do my job and clock out" job. If that is what you are looking for you're not going to be happy here. And you will end up being another bad review.

Cons

The one big con I had was the training program but that was fixed this year and getting even better next year. Of course no company is perfect and we still have programs that we are growing through. The ride is going to be fun though.

Pros

I just wanted to take a min and share my thoughts on what working at eHealth is like. They are very kind here and knowledgeable, they have a great training program, they give you paid recharge days. Kind of like paid holidays but just for the heck of it. The managers know what they are doing and my manager now, Steven Cordon is one of the smartest people I have met. I really like it here. While your in training they giver you a bonus for 3 months which is great.

Cons

the calls are challenging at times and it takes some time to acclimate to their process. They have a great coaching process that helps with that.
