Pros

Potential for a huge market Interesting Projects Great benefits Good CEO

Cons

Accounting, esp. Finance are kind of dysfunctional. Disparities in treatment and recognition. At least remote working helped to have a better work life balance. If you are friend with the right people, then you get recognized and appreciated. Otherwise you're just another forgotten hard working ant. Year over year promotions for the same people. Some are deserved, some are totally mysterious and incongruous, none for those who would deserve one. Expect little to zero recognition of work. Some managers lost entire teams or more than half within days, yet get promoted. If you are into lousy politics, fake friendship, you're a whiner, a bulldog or a fake laugher then you will get a path for ascension on a regular basis. High turnover (most stay less than a year, some last 1-2 y, and a few odd ones over 2). A lot of senior and knowledgeable staff left.

Pros

Selling Medicare is very interesting. There any many good challenges to face here, from deploying the right technologies, and creating digital products to support phone sales teams and online direct to consumer sales.

Cons

• The C Suite appears to lack prior experience in phone sales. This is important since it's the primary mode of generating revenue. As a result business strategies in this area have been both weak and often delegated downward to managers to sort out. • Leadership does not seem interested in the customer or the product. It appears they are only focused on promoting their careers - having their moment in Silicon Valley - and on creating "stockholder value". • Senior leadership struggles to know how to organize people and teams, sending employees through fruitless and painful reorgs throughout the year. Change management is not a strength. • Few people at eHealth have a sense of humor. It's a very serious company.

Pros

Comp is good. Work from home. Benefits are good. Opp to help a place re-discover its greatness but it’s not without risk.

Cons

This place has become really high pressure. Not invigorating so much as making you anxious. Org has fallen behind others and is at a crossroads. Not for the faint of heart but rewarding opp of you can hang on through some difficult times.
