Pros

Made a lot in commision, Reasonable hourly pay rate, Paid holidays and Sicks days plus PTO, Insurance and 401k nice

Cons

9 hour required shifts during AEP, 3rd party transfers were hard to overcome bc the customers didn't usually want to be transferred but they would do it anyway and then you had an angry customer to try and sell a plan to, Supervisors don't do much in the ways of coaching and trying to build you as an agent. As long as you produce sales they left you alone. Which is good but if you are someone who wants to continue to learn and get better it doesn't allow you to be as successful as you'd like to be.

Pros

Good pay opportunity, fun people to work with, benefits

Cons

very repetitive, supervisors aren't always great in terms of personal issues and being understanding about that.

Thank you for sharing your comments. I especially appreciate that you call out the great people we have here, in addition to the pay and benefits. We know how challenging the seasonal nature of this industry can be. That's why we implemented a number of new policies last year - including recharge days, a hybrid work model, and home office expenditures, to name a few - but there's always room for improvement so we continue to look for more opportunities to support a healthy work life balance. ~Bob Rees

Pros

After reading some negative reviews, I feel inclined to give my 2 cents. eHealth has been great for me! The benefits and job security have been way more than fair. I cleared a 6 figure income last year! I have never felt pressure from any of my managers and supervisors. They have always been supportive and willing to help at any time. Working remotely has been a huge plus as well.

Cons

For the MSR position, it's always gonna be a sales job and there are always gonna be challenges to every sales position no matter what you sell or where you work. It is what it is.
