1. eSimplicity goes beyond the actual escalation funding they receive from the government according to their contract to often do whats best and reasonable for staff when it comes to annual raises. 2. Flexible workplace environment offering - hybrid and remote positions 3. Wide-variety of employee recognition programs, educational incentives, personal and professional growth encouragement. 4. eSimplicity leaders and teams are passionate about their mission. 5. eSimplicity is innovative pushing the boundaries in technology, strategy and engineering.

Cons

1. Growing fast comes with some pains as processes and infrastructure are sometimes working to catch-up and get ahead.

Pros

eSimplicity is a great place to work if you are: - A North Korean spy (seriously, it's a thing) - "Working" 2 or 3 jobs and looking to add another - Someone who values appearances over performance - The textbook definition of the Peter Principle

Cons

It's not a good place to work if you: - Know anything about computer security - Believe performance should be rewarded - Expect leadership to actually lead - Have a sense of humor more advanced than that of a cinder block - Think an engineering company should be about engineering - Care about consistency and rationality

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we welcome constructive feedback and open dialogue, many of the claims and characterizations in this review do not reflect the values, culture, or operational reality of eSimplicity. As a mission-driven technology company supporting critical federal programs, we rely on strong collaboration across engineering, cybersecurity, design, product, operations, and delivery teams to successfully build and modernize complex digital services. We believe effective engineering organizations are strengthened — not hindered — by cross-functional partnership, accountability, and healthy debate. We also recognize that high-performing environments require continuous improvement, transparent communication, and thoughtful leadership. Those are areas we consistently invest in as we scale and evolve. Most importantly, we remain proud of the talented professionals across the company who are passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients and the public through modern technology, innovation, and teamwork.

Lack of Leadership and Direction – Proceed with Caution

Pros

Some talented colleagues are doing their best to make the most of the situation.

Cons

eSimplicity has grown way too quickly without the proper infrastructure or leadership to support it. The company is in a constant state of flux with new leaders being brought in and out, mostly out, at every level, including the C-suite. This instability leads to a lack of direction and unclear strategic focus. This company is primed for a "small to large" death spiral. The turnover is unreal — people are leaving in droves, and morale is at an all-time low. The pressure to perform is extremely high, but without the proper resources or guidance, it feels like you're fighting an uphill battle every day. There's no clear vision for where the company is headed, and it’s hard to get excited about the work when you’re unsure of the company’s future. It's tough out there for many people, but I am looking for another job, and I know several others who are in the same situation.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. While we recognize that not every employee experience will be the same, several of the characterizations in this review do not reflect the experience of the broader organization or the way our teams operate. eSimplicity are selective of the opportunities we pursue. We focus on critical solutions that impact millions of Americans, including modernization efforts supporting public-facing systems such as Passport Renewal and healthcare platforms that improve quality of care nationwide. Successfully delivering these complex programs requires strong collaboration, disciplined delivery practices, and engaged teams. We continuously evolve and improve our processes, communication, and leadership practices. Our people are proud of the careers they build here, the strong client partnerships we maintain, and the measurable impact our team make every day. We practice our values Be Bold | Be Real | Be Curious everyday as we make lasting impact in critical missions serving the public. We appreciate all feedback and remain committed to supporting an environment where talented people can do purposeful work, grow professionally, and contribute to missions that matter.
