Pros

Cloud based real estate brokerage - you can work from anywhere. Very tech forward and in tune with where the marke is headed. Extensive class selections - in a virtual office where you can actually "meet" with agents across the country. Great online support staff.

Cons

Cloud based is a great concept because real estate isn't really done via storefronts anymore. Even though the virtual office is cool, there's no real local human interaction with other exp agents because it's still a pretty new concept. Unless your whole brokerage is switching over to exp you can feel pretty alone.

Pros

This company gives Realtors including Real Estate Agents and Brokers opportunities like no other. Please do some research and you'll see the tools, training, technology, compensation, bonuses, teamwork and opportunities that together compose the finest real estate company in the world. Realtors can meet their clients online easily and share presentations. Real estate teams can collaborate together in the cloud and discuss things in private, using technology to share ideas and grow. Agents have support staff to assist them plus much more all in a fun filled serious environment you can get to within seconds from anywhere in the world!

Cons

Since it is a relatively new company, there are some areas which they are still growing in and have room for improvement. It can also be said that some of these are also some of their greater benefits to some people though as it creates opportunity.

Pros

The people you work with are generally some of the best you'll encounter. Helpful, friendly, resourceful. Most departments work great with each other, which is awesome. Your boss and your coworkers are your friends. It's work-from-home, provided you're a full time employee. At least for IT/technology staff, this is a pretty good perk. Lack of commute is great. The balance of work/life is excellent. There's nothing to complain about, other than the cons listed below.

Cons

The pay is substandard for the experience someone has in the field. 2 years of experience is required for a tier 1 tech support position, however, the pay is anywhere from $12 to $14 per hour DOE. This does not pay the bills, unfortunately. This happens to be the case for most departments, from the people I've talked to. Morale can be low at times in regards to that... You'll be a generalist if you're tech support. Making marketing materials, etc. This would normally be a good thing, as you get to have your hands on all kinds of stuff, but in the case of eXp, it gives upper management the supposed authority to make you do things, such as cold calling employees and asking them why they haven't reserved a slot to the yearly conference. Thankfully, that idea was shot down promptly. No provided benefits. There are discounts, but it's pricey, and at $14 an hour, 1/3 of your pay goes to your benefits. This is understandable, as it's a small company.
