Pros

-free food, free alcohol and company outings(which I found sometimes boring)

Cons

I wish I could use the space provided for pros for writing the cons! - sudden changes in management's decision - call themselves as start-up even though they are working on the same idea for 15 years - google for sms ac/fanbox, you will get to know whatever you need! -they just talk, don't believe in their words - they can not achieve whatever goals they set - number of employees leaving the company is way more than the employees working there - they believe that they have developed perfect company culture which I pity their culture -complicated product I feel whatever good reviews of empowr are there on the internet are asked by management to the current sales employees so as to cover up the bad ones.

Pros

The major pro I can give for Empowr/Fanbox is that you are immediately given a lot of responsibility.

Cons

There are quite a few: 1. Almost no on-boarding and expectations/goals are almost non-existent from a management level. You are thrown into the deep end from day one to see if you "sink or swim." 2. No clear direction. The vision is constantly changing and priorities are consistently being shuffled affecting everyone's individual progression. 3. Confrontation policy is just an excuse to pass down upper management's frustration for the company consistently missing goals and deadlines. 4. Lack of focus on the actual product. The founder(s) are too high up in the clouds and are more concerned with the future idea of the product than what is actually in the current market, which is terrible and constantly needing damage control. You cannot keep envisioning future product changes when your product is currently in market grossing revenue under a different brand with a user interface and code base resembling the 90s 5. Compensation packages are weak. Primarily because the equity offered is valued by absurd and twisted statistics. 6. Company culture is hostile and very intimidating. To disagree in any way with upper management puts you on the chopping block quickly. 7. Turnover is expected and encouraged. No interest in developing employees.

Pros

Occasionally get free lunches ordered via GrubHub

Cons

Founder Michael Pousti lacks professionalism across the board. Zero work life balance and business practices with users of the platform is a shade away from being considered a pyramid scheme. Even the platform is built in such a way to compound impressions and inflate numbers.
