      Pros

      Our team is one of the best I have ever worked with. Everyone is thoughtful, insightful, and highly collaborative. You are able to feel the positive impact we have on our clients. I feel highly fortunate to be a part of such an amazing group. As a virtual firm, you are able to create a truly flexible work environment and the freedom to achieve your own personal and professional goals.

      Cons

      You must be able to create internal and external relationships virtually, which is not as easy as it may sound. You need to be highly motivated and disciplined to avoid distractions.

      Advisors to Fortune 500 and top PE clients on very interesting, challenging issues Selective about clients - serve great people who prioritize people strategy Little time wasted...model allows consultants to spend very high percentage of time on work that has real impact on clients

      Firm has an addiction to impact that benefits clients, but which can create intensity People-related consulting work can be emotionally demanding Some staff members could be A+ consultants (also a Pro)

      Pros

      Every interaction with a colleague or client is an opportunity to help, learn or support a really impressive human being take on a big challenge. Every piece of work we do is important, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Our collective heart is always in the right place. We really strive for excellence, and it's made me a better professional.

      Cons

      You have to be willing to manage yourself. You also have to be willing to do real work, some of it might feel like grunt work, as we run lean with few support resources. There is little spoonfeeding, so sometimes you have to be willing to seek out counsel, coaching and development. But people are always willing to give it. We are not yet huge and global in scale nor are we a small mom and pop, but we can have some of the disadvantages of both.
