      Pros

      ghSMART is for people who love supporting clients on their most important leadership challenges. The firm has excellent access to great leaders and great organizations, which creates fantastic opportunities to serve clients. We have a tremendous brand and depth of expertise that means our offering is distinctive. We leverage our colleagues. We also have a lot of fun. We spend time together, develop one another, and we all have an opportunity to make an outsized impact on the firm and the world. And, we are paid for the work we do, which creates tremendous flexibility and establishes fair compensation that enables you to live life in the way you choose.

      Cons

      Client service requires hard work, flexibility, and travel. While these can all be positive for the right person, ghSMART is not for everyone.

      *Intellectually stimulating work at high levels resulting in measurable impact on companies = very rewarding. *Flexible, I own my schedule and ensure I can retain personal commitments *Great colleagues, constantly challenged by extremely talented and supportive colleagues

      Cons

      *Important, high level work can be challenging and stressful at times, and you have to be prepared to be consumed with our client's issues, but totally worth the impact and help we can provide leaders.

      Pros

      I worked at another top-notch strategy consulting firm prior to ghSMART (think BCG, McKinsey, Bain). When I worked there, I thought I would never work at another firm that did such great client work and had such an amazing team. When I joined ghSMART I was amazed to find that it created even more impact for clients and has an even better team. And to top it off, ghSMART truly cares about it's people. Leadership and the partners want you to be the best you can be, to choose the career path at ghSMART that you want, and to do so with a model where you have flexibility on the type and amount of work you take on. ghSMART truly has the potential to be the McKinsey or Bain equivalent of leadership consulting.

      Cons

      Most people at ghSMART love our virtual model. However, if you are someone that absolutely must work in person with other people on a daily place, it might not be the place for you.
