Pros
Nothing honestly you get paid nothing for training and are actually put in the hole the first day you start. Training is ludicrous! They actually tell you that if you have doctors appointments, or need to get your kids from school during training cancel appts and find someone else to pick up your children! They throw an enormous amount of information at you all at once and expect you to make 60-80 phone calls a day. Write and send one bulk email a day as well as 20 linkedin inmails AND be on 6 hours of training that you have to be seen on the screen at all times. If you are not they will screen shot your empty screen and say where are you. Training classes start 2 times a month and have 30-40 people in it in which they only keep 4 or 5. They have non-negotiables. Rules that if you do not follow you are out. They talk about flexibility, not in your first month and perhaps even longer. You are tied to that desk. You are not allowed to do training anywhere but your home office. You cannot take your laptop and go to a park or God forbid pick your kids up and listen to the training while doing that.
Cons
Everything. Sure you can make money. But you are going to be starting at a deficit from day one. $3K (my trainers exact words) do not make a real penny until after 6 months. When you make a deal you have to pay back your draw balance. So if you take your draw for 3 months and make your first placement, you owe the company $9k from your draw your placement is $12K you pay back the draw and all you get is $3k. So yes potential is there, but their rules and pay structure will kill you. The other fun filled part is the training. Basically you are hired as a cold caller and a secretary. You get the information from the candidate or client enter it into their ridiculous system send the name of the individual that is your director and you do nothing more! Glorified secretary. Also their vetting ways....OMGosh they just want them to have a pulse work and have experience in the industry and have respect. It does not matter if they have had 6 jobs in 1 year they are ready to make a change and let's go. Such a horrible way to work. I hear everyday OMGosh you work for GPAC? Why they are such an awful organization. They lie cheat and steal. I cannot say I have experienced the steal but the other things absolutely! You also have everyone with their hands out for a piece of a deal. Your director takes a piece, the owner of the client gets some, the marketing manager gets some then you get some. The owners and shareholders are always so happy to get on to speak to everyone via video (everything is done by video multiple times a day so buckle up buttercup!) Look recruiting is easy if you are good on the phone and have the drive and passion for it. Recruiting the GPAC way,,,,,,,,you will be riding a stationary bike forever before it begins to hit the ground.
