      Not much respect given to team members from management, and team members are being too “sensitive” if they speak on it

      Pros

      Providing good meals to guest and bonding with some team members to have a peaceful work day and free food ($12 for a meal per shift)

      Cons

      Poor treatment from management, for a place that only offers $9/hr it isn’t worth the disrespect from management and some team members. It’s a work skill to deal with rude people, but when it’s at the expense of your peace of mind, it isn’t worth it

      Sustainable restaurant format with growing pains

      Pros

      Good benefits for part-time employees, opportunity to move up quickly in the company (I was offered a management position in 8 mos.), much more ethically sound product sourcing than other restaurants (especially chains). Clean & safe facility.

      Cons

      The store I worked out went through 3 General Managers and several Shift Managers during my employment of less than one year. Equipment that became damaged was not repaired quickly, so we had to get "creative" in order to complete some basic tasks.

      Pros

      Good culture good team. When we had a good team things would run pretty smooth for the most part.

      Cons

      Things can change here or there but I think that the changes are generally for the better.
