It's a job, if you're desperate

Utterly incompetent management. Poor training. Since i3 bought the company, the already substandard raises went down to pathetic. Then they switched our already crappy healthcare benefits to a different provider with worse coverage and over double the premiums, in effect giving us a pay cut. They "restructured" our work environment in which more work and more work is piled on employees. Employees are not replaced after they quit (and they are quitting rapidly) making the workload even worse. There is no incentive to give your best effort. They literally just gave us a pizza party, oblivious to how cringe and disrespectful that is. Morale is in the toilet. None of the employees are happy. Most are (including me) are looking for something else.

After they acquire your company, they will subsequently remove all of the perks of the job that they promised you would remain before buying you. They will make policies that are harmful to the clients, and then ask you to find the best way to sell it. In the first meeting I had with HR, I was told that we should be “friendly, but not friends”. This philosophy encourages dishonesty. There is a general disconnect between the companies under the umbrella, and they keep departments so siloed it damages productivity.

Wages and raises are lower than industry standards. - Limited opportunities for career growth. - The company prefers to hire foreign developers unless contractually obligated otherwise. - Insurance benefits are sub-par. - Lack of diversity in upper management, predominantly white men. - No paid professional training opportunities, such as conferences and events.
