Pros

Work life balance and good health plans for US employees, ok matching on 401k. You get to work with some incredibly smart and hardworking people. Great community at the individual contributor level.

Cons

Basically everything, this place is following the PE playbook of stripping the business over time to feed the parent company, Vista Equity Partners, It seems pretty obvious that this is either heading for bankruptcy or a sale with a mostly questionable profit margin. I would only take a job here if I couldn't obtain another role. Also, you will be gaslit constantly by leadership at all levels. They are all trained by the "Vista Playbook" in how to talk to employees. These people are NOT your friends. MANY of the reviews here are fake, NOBODY is giving this place 5 stars from the last few years and 4 stars seems laughable too. I saw one from an India based employee that said more than 10 years of experience at iCIMS when they haven't even had any employees there for that long, I suppose it's possible somebody relocated, but that seems unlikely.

Pros

Work-life balance is great and there are still hardworking, intelligent people in all areas of the organization (that have yet to be laid off).

Cons

Current issues within the organization stem from poor leadership decisions over the past few years - coupled with a struggling industry as a whole. The org is now determined to forge a path to recover from losses which, despite being the cost of doing business, continues to have an extreme negative impact on all US employees (layoffs, outsourced jobs, extremely tight EOY merit reqs).
