Pros

1. Super nice office 2. Easy commute for me (when things were in person) 3. Company is widely known and looks good on a resume 4. Health insurance is good 5. Nice sign on bonus if you refer a friend (I did appreciate this)

Cons

1. Quota is very difficult to hit (and they just raised it again) 2. Your numbers are dependent on how lenient your Account Executive is (and not many are) 3. Salary isn't competitive. For the amount of work this SDR team does they should be getting paid more. (Much higher work volume than the average SDR.) 5. Unlimited PTO sounds great, but in reality there's no pressure to use up your PTO days. I've heard of some people only taking off 5 or 6 times during the year. 4. Working from places other than your home are frowned upon, even though this is a remote role and being in the same place every day for 8 hours can become extremely tiresome. 5. Turnover rate is SUPER high (Most SDRs typically last 6-8 months before finding other opportunities) 6. Things are constantly changing. New software, new methods doing things, new metrics to hit, etc. (Hated this) 7. You aren't allowed to create your own messaging. All sales emails now come from a team of one person. Before it was fun to mix and share different emails/content, try new things, and created a collaborative environment. Now all messaging is handed down and half the time doesn't work. This also really cut down the interaction between SDRs and is when everything started to feel very robotic. 8. You will be working around the clock trying to book meetings. I don't know anyone who actually logs off on time. 9. It's very rare anyone gets promoted. I would say only 1 out of 10 SDRs make it to an AE or Account Manager role. 10. They do what they can to convince workers that there's a great company culture, but in reality they just send things in the mail and have an end of week team meeting. Also- for a company that has a solution to drive up diversity in talent pools, I haven't come across more than maybe 4 or 5 black employees in the entire organization.

Pros

- Wonderful CEO - Amazing experience with my manager/leader. I am supported, encouraged & valued daily. - Great work/life balance - this is my first healthy relationship with my work - I feel secure in sharing when I need to put focus on my home life, my self care, etc. iCIMS has made huge strides in this area - thank you to leadership for making this a priority and leading with empathy!! - Internal mobility is ACHIEVABLE here. My recommendation to anyone feeling stuck in their career - say something. Likely your employer, especially iCIMS will take the right steps to show you are valued & get you in the position you deserve/where you can thrive. - The culture of iCIMS is hands down the reason I stay - yes, benefits are awesome, but it’s the people who make all the difference. iCIMS does a great job hiring to ensure a collaborative team environment filled with smart, kind & go-getter employees. iCIMS makes hiring the BEST a constant.

Cons

iCIMS is a fast paced environment and definitely made for a go-getter in the workplace. Challenge accepted!!

Pros

Great HQ in NJ, good health benefits, learned a lot

Cons

I don’t think I could have had a more traumatizing experience working for this company in Customer Success. CS was NOT considered a priority when thinking about initiatives - more of an after thought, which resulted in a horrible customer experience because we weren’t properly enabled to do our jobs. Sudden product releases without warning or context, random acquisitions, and constant demands from sales to support their futile efforts to lure unattainable customers when we didn’t even have the bandwidth to manage our day to day as it was. Leadership did nothing to prevent that sort of culture from continuing regardless of feedback from every individual contributor that was able to take a break from drowning and actually give feedback. Everything fell on deaf ears.
