Tough company to work for

Pros

- Depending on where you are at in the company, you are able to work on a wide variety of campaigns/programs. - Promising podcast team and opportunities.

Cons

It's a really tough culture that's hard to stay motivated in. I've never experienced a more toxic upper management that puts their employees down and doesn't like to acknowledge their accomplishments. Ironically, the challenge is not getting companies to partner with iHeart on projects, but rather getting internal teams on board to work with you. Think old school corporate culture run by white males with very few exciting projects to work on, fake promises around promotions, and a terrible onboarding program.

Pros

Passionate employees and amazing radio talent

Cons

Terrible leadership. No human bone in their body. They’ll keeping cutting 100s of jobs just to keep their astronomical salaries and perks. They’ll purchase smaller companies for millions yet not have enough money to afford an office or employees in NYC. They pretend to care when all they care about is paying $0 state tax forcing staff to relocate to a fly over state or loose their jobs. Easy for them when they’re already millionaires trying to avoid paying state tax and have no real or close family or friends.
