Pros

I enjoy working the events, and making connections with various people in the music industry. Radio is a great platform in the entertainment industry, and iHeart Media is at the center of it all. Coworkers are incredibly talented and hardworking.

Cons

Pay isn't as competitive as it should be. Although the company has it's perks, those things don't necessarily pay the bills.

Pros

Attending events for customers, first to try new restaurants in the city, meeting business partners in different industries, great for resume building to get to know business owners.

Cons

100% commission after 3 months is stressful and a bit ridiculous, there are constant changes in the commission structure and upper management is always changing as well.

Pros

Learned a lot about the radio industry and how everything works from programming to production and advertising. Very interesting experience in that regard.

Cons

Management has no idea what they're doing. Think "greed is good" meets high school, that is the culture here. Management takes care of their favorites who get away with everything and they're not even subtle about it. The favorites are fed the best accounts and everyone else is left to fight over the crumbs that are left. Bullying and backstabbing are practically encouraged. If you are an ethical salesperson who plays by the rules you won't last long here. It is a 100% commission sales job but you are required to attend endless meetings, you are buried in administrative work and you are micromanaged every minute of your day. This company invented the revolving door so don't bother getting to know your co-workers, half of them will be gone by lunch.
