Pros

Fast moving environment Great exposure to radio Good Benefits Radio works for clients when done correctly Fun people

Cons

Commission cuts are the only thing consistent, there is never a win for the sales team, No one left to get answers from, so many cuts in the building you can't get anything done, poor results and under delivering to clients promises with promotions, Upper management is unprofessional and they don't care about their people Went from a sales professional to a micromanaged cubicle slave - - No loyalty or room for growth - they got rid of the only good manager we had and reps are exiting consistently. Poor working enviorment.......Moral is very very poor False promises and lies.

Pros

Access to great research and tools

Cons

Many managers are spineless and antiquated, more concerned about beating Miller Kaplan and hitting numbers versus your personal well being. There is too much micromanagement at all levels. Most new initiatives rolled out are half baked. There is a lack of respect for AEs, whom are often spread too thin with unrealistic workloads and expectations, and with constant direction changes, too many meetings, etc. we spend more time doing paperwork, processing and the like instead of selling. Company can be deemed hard to work with by advertisers, which causes us to lose unacceptable amounts of business to competitors. If you come to the company expecting good sales training, think again. Management always sees AEs as the problems. Pride and greed prevent them from seeing their own shortcomings. High AE turnover is no accident. What's the use of reporting problems to HR when nothing is gonna change?

Pros

-Casual work environment -For the most part, coworkers are amazing -many perks like concert tickets, access to artists -varied work environment with lots of variety and challenges

Cons

Some of the worst mid-level management I've ever encountered. Managers rule by fear, and treat all but the A-level on-air talent as if they are lucky just to have a job. Forget about performance reviews and even cost of living raises. Unrealistic goals with little to no support from corporate as to how to achieve them. With radio in a near constant state of decline, its a negative business with immediate finger pointing any time anything goes wrong.
