Pros

Met great, talented people and learned so much about the business of radio.

Cons

Too bad their employees' talents were exploited until the end result was burn out. Lack of adequate resources to perform positions successfully. Instead of challenging employees to perform at a higher level and celebrating their successes, Employees were often tested with an expectation of failure so they could be dismissed without having to pay any sort of compensation.

Pros

Company Name recognition, Clear Channel is Every WHERE in some way or another, all over the world. Company is very involved in Charities, Blood/Food Drives and Walks. That's about it

Cons

Around me is a creation of a revolving door at ALL Levels, Markets and Corporate. Contractors coming in by the boatload since their pay comes from the Capital Budget, however, in turn, veteran employees with the company have seen NO PAY INCREASES in over the three years, Bonuses are sketchy/non-existent because OUR pay comes from the Operating Budget which is vastly smaller than Capital. Company is focused on VP & High position compensation. Company funds contributed to Presidential Elections with ties to the Company. Taking money that could go to compensate employees fairly instead of paying for a President to get to the top, THAT YOU DIDN'T VOTE FOR!!!! There is ABSOLUTELY NO Pay structure!!!! Too many Smoking Mirrors.... right before your eyes you see the NEW people replaced with the OLD because the New doesn't know any better and they have that drive and optimism the Old once did. Micro-management differs from position/location/manager and it IS out there.
