Pros

The perks, the people and if you get a really good general sales manager, the mentorship. There are great people at Clear Channel. The training they provide is top notched. Advertisers have an avenue to a number of ways to get their message out effectively. The radio stations themselves are usually in the top of the ratings because they play what their listeners want to hear. Overall, there are good things about Clear Channel.

Cons

Some of the downsides of working at Clear Channel include long hours and the possibility of working under a junior sales manager who may not be willing (or able) to give attention to all sales team members. Also, there is this aspect of the accounting department in which they kick back an account for payment to the sales rep. The sales rep's job is to develop the customer relationship and keep it moving forward, not to micro-manage the accounting aspect. Yes, there will be times when the sales rep needs to make mention that the invoice is due, but it is the account department's job to follow through.
