Pros

If you have a good manager you will be OK. It's all about who you are working with. A good group will make up for all the downfalls of corporate and Sr. Management. I have never worked so hard with such a good group of people before. Radio is a family but some people need to leave the family in order to make ends meet.

Cons

Don't expect a raise or to move up without doing all the leg work yourself. If you want to transfer to another market to move up you will be completing all the networking and getting the new job yourself. Management does not help you move up in the company.

Pros

Talent and on air programming folks are highly competent and creative. Large company footprint allows for exchange of ideas nationwide.

Cons

Management are often beholden to regional management and fear for their jobs, lack of creative process and ways to excel at creating great radio.
