Pros

The team is talented and creative and our work will reach many millions of users. We have plenty of resources to do things like user testing.

Cons

clear channel is not a media company, not a product development company so sometimes it's frustrating and difficult to do user oriented design.

Pros

There is a lot of potential for growth at Clear Channel as it is such a big company. It is the largest radio market in Seattle (as far as number of stations) allowing more opportunities for individuals. The promotions internship is really FUN. You get access to many concerts, games (Mariners, etc), and other exclusive opportunities. One of the funnest parts is getting backstage access at Summer Jam and meeting celebrities. The staff at Clear Channel Seattle are very upbeat, outgoing, and fun to work with as a whole.

Cons

Clear Channel has an extremely bad reputation in the broadcasting market. They are commonly recognized as a monopoly following their large expansion after President Clinton signed the Telecommunications act in 1996. You may encounter some individuals who have a distaste for either the company, or the station you are representing when you are out doing promotional events. The shifts can be long and sometimes tedious.

Pros

Good benefits, annual bonuses to some employees, free tickets to events, good work environment & co-workers.

Cons

Do not offer compensation when new responsibilities are issued, laid off more then half staff, pay reduced from previous years, do not offer raises, takes accounts from Sales Reps to provide new employees training pay.
