Pros

Flexible work environment, the free treats were nice.

Cons

Very inexperienced management team that is not transparent. Experienced engineers will likely be very frustrated due to lack of direction, micromanagement by management team, and lack of subject matter knowledge. Mgmt will likely try to tell you how to do your job or set up competing teams amongst each other to see who "wins" to be right. Engineering resources are very limited for lab equipment, software tools considering they consider themselves doing R&D. Expect to work weekends at a moments notice without any compensation.

Pros

None that I can say

Cons

I'm rather surprised at the number of positive reviews. It's good to know that other departments had it better, but my former colleague once told me that she was explicitly asked by HR to leave a 5-star review when she first joined the company, so there's that. If you're a true product person, then you better dodge this bullet. They once had a promising product org, but I saw it crumble in front of eyes, so there's no one left to hire a competent product person, let alone the upper management that understands what product management means. If you're desperate to get a job or like being told what to do and collect your paychecks, then by all means, come and work here. This place is a constant revolving door of talents and has the highest turnover rates that I've ever seen. There was even an incident where the team was excited to welcome a new VP of Product (a position that was vacant for more than a year) but guess what, he never showed up! What a joke, he didn't even last a day. It's truly unfortunate because I've met one of the brightest folks here, but management couldn't handle them because they were too smart -- seriously. They weren't afraid to vocalize their concerns over management's illogical decisions, and the next thing you know, a lead was fired, then a whole host of remaining leads and team members began to leave. The only way you succeed here is to be a family member of the executive leadership or by never asking the right questions and simply obeying what they tell you to do like a good servant. Then you'll be up for back-to-back promotions, hooray!
