Pros

Free fruit and snacks is very nice. Clean and safe work environment.

Cons

There used to be alot of trust in employee talent and abilities. It's all about ego and saving a buck now. They will provide free fruit and snacks, but then treat their employees like 2nd class citizens. Poor communication from Managers.

I'm sorry to hear that you felt as though you were treated like a second class citizen. That is definitely not iHerb's vision. All team members add tremendous value.

Pros

Good pay Nice office space if you like open offices Perks - coffee, snacks

Cons

-See some of the other reviews, the coding styles are that bad, but some are starting to improve. -CTO will write code or tell developers how they should write it, if the company had 2 developers that might be ok, but it just shows his inability to trust. -Despite the "unlimited vacation", requests are often denied, don't plan on taking a lot of holidays off. -In addition to the CTO writing code, some managers also write code. -Nepotism and Persian culture clashes at times with American values. -Loud office, you can hear any conversation across half the floor. -Upper management does not tell you what's going on or seem to have any vision for the future.

Pros

iHerb is a great place for growth given that they are one of the few companies in the online retail space that has been in operation for 20 years. The management is open to feedback and collaboration and gives you the opportunity to show them your skills for continual process improvement. All employees are rewarded for their hard work and dedication in many ways. The wonderful benefits go above and beyond what many others offer.

Cons

There are not many cons to speak of. Any con that is present is acknowledged and is reviewed through the HR and Management teams and if a possible solution is available that benefits the employee and the company, it is acted upon.
