Pros

iSoftStone is a company that provides real opportunities for career growth and has always supported my ambitions and goals. The benefits, salary, and work life balance are GREAT but it's the company culture that truly sets iSoftStone apart. Employees love getting together whether its a coffee hour, an impromptu lunch in office, or a full blown happy hour event, we know how to make work fun!

Cons

We've lost some key members of leadership over the past year which always affects company morale.

Pros

Nice view from the Kirkland office

Cons

Company is very top-heavy. A business with 150 full-time employees should not have 15 vice presidents. Excellent reviews from clients does not translate to raises or bonuses at review time. Best to be a slacker if you work here. The CEO (in Boston) has no clue about the incompetence of management and sales in Kirkland.

Pros

The company culture is fantastic. As a services organization, people are generally onsite with customers and it can be difficult to connect as a team. iSoftStone does a great job managing this with company events, BBQs at the office, and encouraging frequent 1:1 meetings and work activities. Senior leadership is strong and supportive and the door is always open to discuss career, issues, clients, etc.

Cons

Training has been difficult to come by in the last few years. As a billable resource, the training needs to be done in off hours which makes it hard to achieve. The support is there to take training, but it'd be nice to do this during the work day.
