Pros

Everyone at iSpot is really supportive. It's a fun team working towards a common goal. Very positive work environment. Lots of positive energy. Good benefits and the company looks out for its employees. Open vacation policy. Good pay. Lots of smart people.

Cons

Not many. Leans towards waterfall methodology where it might benefit with something more agile.

Pros

iSpot has an innovative product that is being quickly adopted in the marketplace by disruptive brands that advertise on TV. Team based environment where learning, individual growth and collaboration across departments is encouraged. The team is focused on helping brands take control of and bring their advertising strategy in-house with a focus on improving their ROI on TV advertising by orders of magnitude.

Cons

The company continues investing in innovation - new capabilities, processes and systems to support customer demand and therefore the product continues to rapidly evolve. In many cases, customers are not yet using the company's most advanced capabilities.

Pros

The dev culture is laid back and have a pretty relaxed culture. There are a number of good engineers across the company. Working there provided some good experience, and their product is very mature in comparison to other competitors in their field.

Cons

- Not really any opportunity to move up in the company - Management was apposed to trying new technologies and stuck in their ways. - Raises are hardly ever given out at the company, and when they are, they are such a joke that they are a slap in the face. - Had a boss that was promoted too fast and was WAY out of his league at managing a team, causing multiple people to leave and yet nothing was done about it. If you go there, get your experience there and get out. They aren't worth sticking around.
