Pros

I love working for insitro. People are easy to work with, hard working, smart and very collaborative. Leadership and management care about your well being and are action driven. If there’s room for improvement you are encouraged to give feedback and something will be done about it. I have also been given ample room to grow and learn new skills. My professional development is taken seriously and my managers are always open to find ways to help me grow or learn things that I’m interested in. Not to mention the vision and mission of the company is incredibly inspiring. I feel absolutely humbled and grateful to work for such a great company and with such an amazing team.

Cons

The challenges I think insitro faces are the growing pains of a fast growing start up. How to restructure things and how the dynamic of the company changes as you go from 40 people to over 100 and beyond is challenging. However I feel that the open environment for feedback and the action driven focus of leadership gives me faith that even as the company grows it will adapt and maintain the wonderful culture and standard of excellence that I’ve come to know and love.

Micromanagement is rampant, and there's a toxic environment with little regard for people. It's common for management to push out any employees who ask questions or challenge the status quo. Misrepresentation of the company and the job during the hiring process,
