      Overall sort of fake and culty vibe from management and higher ups

      Pros

      Discount is nice and sweaty pursuit card is nice also but if you use it you get taxed on it.

      Cons

      Your coworkers can be fun but the energy to always be buddy buddy is kind of fake and disingenuous. It definitely is felt when management isn't in the room. Everyone gossips about one another. It very much feels like high school. Not the culture that corporate wants or tries to foster. The culture they want to foster just feels so disingenuous when the ppl in the stores try to implement it because that's not actually how they feel.

      Great part-time job but a few flaws

      Pros

      - generous discount (40% off for PT, 75% off all sale items) - preloaded debit card for workout classes - pick up shifts as needed - work closely with upper management - fantastic team, well selected employees

      Cons

      - limited time off, especially for PT employees - working either late nights (5-11PM is a shift), or early mornings (7AM-1PM) - must be available during weekends and holidays - occasional drama on the job between employees which can be annoying - lots of manual labor (carrying wide boxes that weigh 30 pounds, moving around products, cleaning bathrooms, taking out trash, breaking down more boxes... you're on your feet for your entire shift) - sometimes management can be lazy/uninterested in their own job which can trickle down to other employees - mistakes are not easily forgiven. One small mistake means you will be written up, which can make you feel embarrassed or ashamed. A larger mistake (using your discount on a friend) will result in termination of employment.
