Pros

Friendly community of like-minded people all looking to achieve fitness goals. Discount is a huge plus.

Cons

Sometimes being managed by people your same age with same experience and education level became kind of a power struggle.

Cons

I can't really think of any negatives. It was a great part-time job.

Pros

Great team dynamic, free work out classes, amazing way to expand outside of the store and into the community. Learned effective communication skills, management tools and overall truly became a better person working there.

Cons

Long hours, worked more than I got paid for. it's by far the best retail experience in my opinion, but you do work weekends, nights and holidays. I was fortunate in that I moved up through management really quickly but if you do not get along with your Store Manager you will have a VERY difficult time getting promoted from part-time educator.
