Pros

Great people to work with and for. It is its own little community and the work environment is always positive!

Cons

The work you put into the job you are not making. I cannot live off of what I make there, unfortunately.

Pros

I really enjoyed the staff discount, store atmosphere, sweat dates, and community feeling.

Cons

Most of the Managers and Key Leaders went on power trips, and thought that because they were the shift leader that they ruled everything and had all the answers. As well, if you were friends with management then you were favoured in place of others who did work incredibly hard. Found it hard to break into the group honestly. They were also very meticulous about everything in places that it didn't need to be, such as closing the store and putting every item of clothing away perfectly, only to get destroyed the next morning by customers. Also felt like you were in a bit of a cult, as they do force their values on you.

Pros

Wonderful yoga/workout class benefits, employee discount, health insurance, entrepreneurial spirit and freedom to make the job what you want it to be. Ability to grow within the company because of high turnover due to employees following their goals and dreams, as well as many locations and positions.

Cons

Their culture of feedback should mean that you are free to give feedback to others around you, and that is what they preach, but often times management doesn't like what you have to say to them and that can hurt you in the long run, whether it be in a performance review, when it's time for promotion, etc. It's one of the companies with the highest turnover because people are following their goals, but that means many new employees all the time, and not many who stay for the long term. Many complaints from team members that they don't like the culture, management, and the way things are run. Hiring decisions don't always make sense. The people in the store manager and regional manager roles aren't always the best fit, and it is very apparent that some are incompetent at their jobs. If you find a manager you like, stay at that location because a great store manager is hard to find. Long training process, so if you aren't in it for the long-term, this isn't the right job for you.
