Pros

Yes, it's still retail, but they attract positive, awesome, fun people to work there, so it's almost always a great time. Your experience is completely up to you, if you want to coast, then you'll coast, if you want to take on more responsibilities, the possibilities are far reaching and transferable; from event planning, to inventory control and operations, to grass roots marketing and social media marketing. All in a super supportive environment that pushes you to triumph through inspiration instead of a fear of failure. Also, if you love working out- the workout budget is great; so many free workouts!

Cons

While you can take on as much as you're able and then some, your pay will not reflect everything you're taking on. Management does a great job of making its people feel appreciated, however it is still retail at the end of the day, and you will be paid accordingly. In regards to the "cult culture"- if you are the type of person who is susceptible to such a thing, then yes, it might feel that way at times. Like any company their is a certain language spoken and unwritten rules to follow; you have to play the game to get far. For a place that sells stretchy pants, you deal with much more emotional nonsense than you might think. That being said, if you can get the job done, and work well with others, you can make it your way.

Pros

Overall it's a great company. They place a lot of emphasis on goal setting, so eventually I left the company to pursue other goals. When you work at the retail store, they use a lot of techniques to make it SEEM like it's not a retail job. It was a good transition job for me, and I stayed longer than I expected to. The employee discount on product is great. The company pays for employees to take fitness classes in the community.

Cons

At the end of the day, this is a retail job. There are expected sales goals, cleaning responsibilities, and high turnover. It's very difficult to move up within the company. You are expected to wear current colors during your shift, which means you spend a lot of your wages on more lulu gear to wear to work.

Pros

Great discount and work culture surrounding health and fitness

Cons

Can sometimes feel a bit cultish when it comes to fitting in. If you don't drink the cool aid, it's not the place for you.
