Pros

great compensation structure for part time employees

Cons

hard to make a living as a full time employee. They claim to pay people well, but the raises are minimal and the annual compensation plan is truly only competitive if you hit your "stretch" goals which is only common the first two years a store is open.

Pros

There are a lot! Most important: care more about people than the bottom dollar, great benefits including very generous discount and free classes in the community, smart hiring decisions ensure you're surrounded by like-minded, smart, and high achieving people, great product, none of the "we've always done it this way so it must be right" mentality, lots of growth opportunities, a unique and success-building internal culture, nearly endless resources for self-development, entrepreneurial environment, a chance to make a difference. Overall I would absolutely work for lulu in a heartbeat again!

Cons

Pay is definitely lower than the average retailer, especially for the top talent lulu attracts. If your strength isn't time management and you're in a leadership role you will struggle, as there's a lot to do and limited time and space to do it, leading some to work off the clock. If you're not into getting really honest about what you could work on and talking about your feelings, not the place for you, but it's really what you make it.

Pros

Great benefits! The company pays for employees to work out at top rated fitness studios in the city. We also get great discounts on clothing, and if you are a full time employee, health insurance is very reasonable.

Cons

Because each store is treated as an independent business, many times you are at the fate of your store manager. Having worked at multiple stores under multiple managers, there are good and bad!
