Pros
After 7 months I can say the following: - I gained a lot of experience. - I became a MUCH better programmer. - learned a lot about the software industry that can't really be taught in school - scrum, agile, development practices, etc... - The people on my team (and other teams) are very easy to work with and like their jobs. They're fun to interact with but also take their jobs seriously. - A lot of other companies usually have interns do a separate project by themselves, but here I got to work directly with a scrum team and see how all the different job types interact with each other (QAs, PMs, Devs, Scrum Master, Tech Writer, etc...). This is a very important thing and why I very much value working here. - They allow you to have a very flexible schedule. - 100% virtual. - CEO is a good guy from what I can tell. People seem to respect him a lot.
Cons
- It takes a lot of time to be trained and learn the technology being used. - It usually takes PT interns a few months to complete the onboarding project. The experience is much better after completing it because you get to work closely with a scrum team. - The pay is decent, but I wish it was higher.
