Pros

They have hired great people Great stated culture Wonderful benefits, especially medical Great pay Good position in the market Good work/life balance

Cons

Return to Office announcement has been mishandled Acquisitions have come with communication friction, among other growing/marriage pains States that they value DEI, but have not put any processes in place to recruit, hire, and retain diverse talent especially with return to the office and the focus on bringing talent near certain headquarters Overall strategy and vision aren't very clear Unsure of career advancement opportunities for some roles

Thank you for posting your review. We are glad to see that you recommend the company and appreciate your perspective on the outlook of the company. We receive feedback on both sides of the issue on our Back to Office decision. We recognized and clearly shared with everyone that this decision may not be popular with everyone, but we felt it was important for us to get back to the culture which made this company what it is today. We recognize that based on the time period in which you were hired, you wouldn't have any insight into what that culture was like pre-pandemic. However, being together in common locations where we can openly and quickly discuss things and be more collaborative was, and continues to be, a very important part of nCino. We do want to correct one of your statements as we do have a very defined Talent Acquisition strategy that is inclusive of individuals who are in our brick and mortar locations, as well as key remote roles where hiring someone in another location is based on the capabilities and experiences that individual brings to the company. Part of that strategy is very much focused on DEI and how we continue to ensure we are hiring talent that is reflective of the diversity in the communities in which we hire and operate. Again, we just wanted to clarify that point. But we also hear you point on the need for more transparency around our strategy, creating clarity around how employees lattice and ladder across the company and build their careers, and more timely, transparent communications overall. We have a lot of plans and work that is taking place in these areas and our hope is that you and all of our incredible employees around the globe will see improvements. Thank you again for your post. We appreciate you taking the time and more importantly, we appreciate you and your contributions!

Corporate Takeover Ruined This Company

Pros

Prior to the acquisition from nCino, SimpleNexus was an amazing place to work & they treated every employee as family.

Cons

Once nCinco purchased this company it all went to trash and pretty fast. First, someone with ZERO management skills was promoted who knew nothing about what the product offered, bullied/harassed everyone who did not see “her way” (almost as if we were all in middle school), etc. Many of us from different departments went to HR regarding this individual and nothing happened other than pretty much everyone who made that report was laid off (some said it was retaliation). Lots and lots of favoritism took place & it became more of stepping on one another to make yourself look good instead of the original culture that was once present.
